Astrological Trends for June 25-July 1, 2010

Here is your energy lookout for the week ahead. Like checking the weather to know how to dress, it makes good sense to check the planetary energy patterns to know how to plan your days. This forecast looks at the current transits of the planets in relation to society as a whole. Your own natal, or birth, chart is also impacted by the current transits, and your own experiences this week will also be affected by your own unique chart pattern. I am available for general readings by phone or text chat at LivePsyche or you can make arrangements for in-depth chart readings here.

The two irritating T-squares which make for stressful situations and feeling thwarted are still present on Friday, June 25th. The Sagittarius Moon may find you filled with a sense of impatience and urgency. You wish you could just hurry time and move past the full Moon and eclipse now as the current configurations are pushing and pulling thoughts and emotions in all different directions. You feel as though you don’t have enough time to get everything accomplished, yet time could not go fast enough now to suit you! Many of the things on your to-do list may have to be redone after the full Moon, if you rush through them now, so choose only the most essential tasks and be sure to include time for yourself, even if it feels like wasted time. It’s important to balance work with play today.

You will feel more centered and grounded on Saturday, June 26th, as one of the T-squares is now gone. A favorable aspect between Mars (action) in perfectionist Virgo and the Moon (emotions) in grounded Capricorn also supports the centering energy of the day. The Moon is Full and makes a conjunction to Pluto (power), enabling you to make precise and powerful plans and put them in place. It is a good day to look at your emotions closely and get down to the bare essentials. The eclipse can reveal your core issues and faulty beliefs that hold you back and you can take control in a practical way now. A Sun/Mercury conjunction in the emotional sign of Cancer is having a harmonious energy exchange with Chiron/Neptune today, helping you to heal your painful or complicated emotions and release things that haunt you from the past.

The week will lighten up as you move through it and Sunday, June 27th, is like a smaller ripple in the pond of yesterday. The dominant energy you may feel today is the Sun/Mercury conjunction in Cancer, assisting you in mentally processing and integrating the revelations and events of Saturday. Some Venus/Pluto passion amplification was overshadowed by the Moon and other aspects in place on Saturday, but on this lighter energy day, it can be felt more strongly. You can use this “feel good” vibration spending time with a partner or pursuing your own favorite passion.

You may be singing “I’m Free” on Monday, June 28th, as the Sun and Mercury move out of a challenging aspect to Jupiter/Uranus in self-determined Aries. Yee-haw! Another T-square bites the dust! The Moon is in the early degrees of freedom-loving Aquarius and is connected in a good way to Jupiter (growth), Uranus (change), and Pluto (intensity), so you will be inclined to put the calls on hold, put up the “closed” sign, and head out the door for points unknown for a well-deserved day of spontaneous adventure. At the very least, take an extended lunch or leave early to make the most of another of today’s delights – the “hidden” declinations show a strong energy pattern in place between the Moon, Venus, and Pluto. That’s pleasure and passion served up with a side of emotional satisfaction, so place your order and indulge.

The Sun in Cancer opposing Pluto in Capricorn pattern that you’ve been subjected to since June 23rd has been showing me the image of Goldilocks and the three bears. Mother Bear has been the radiant Sun in nurturing Cancer and Father Bear fearfully powerful Pluto in stern, patriarchal Capricorn. Soft and hard, mother and father, safe home and threatening world. Any of these polarities may have risen in your awareness over the course of the week, with no just-right point to be found. Thank goodness planets move, is all I can say, and this opposition is becoming a fading memory as of Tuesday, June 29th. Your life feels more comfortable now and today is also a day where you will feel more unified in your thoughts, feelings, and actions, as there are friendly aspects between the Moon and Mars and Mars and the Sun/Mercury conjunction. You may feel more like yourself and less on edge than you have for some time.

The Moon joins Neptune and Chiron in late-degree Aquarius/early-degree Pisces on Wednesday, June 30th. These planets exchange supportive energy with Saturn and Jupiter conjunct Uranus. The Sun/Mercury conjunction in Cancer still engages Mars in Virgo. So, what’s up? Constructive growth and change, healing work, healing of something, thinking and talking about definitive plans for better ways and means of doing things that is physically or spiritually sound and beneficial. Although a Jupiter/Pluto square and a Saturn/Uranus opposition are still in place, creating a suppressive or reigning-in effect on many plans, today is an ideal day to accomplish more than you have in weeks, due to a lack of distraction and strong support to Saturn, the “Taskmaster.”

A pleasant day begins a new month on Thursday, July 1st, and all the turbulence of last week seems lightyears past now. The Moon is in dreamy, idealistic Pisces and is glowing along happily with the Sun in sensitive Cancer, creating a wonderful bridge of light energy between the realm of imagination and the fertile sea of creativity. The Moon is also parallel Chiron, inviting a karmic connection between you and another soul. If you are wanting to be a parent, this is a fine day for conception. If you are looking for a true love or a creative partner, this is also a time that supports meeting the right individual. None of the above? Then simply allow your heart and imagination to unite in a dream of your perfect life, as you would love to live it.
